Geoff Bettencourt is a fourth-generation Pillar Point Harbor commercial fisherman. Geoff began fishing with his grandfather and father before he was tall enough to see over the rail. In high school, he continued to fish for salmon and crab and trawling for rockfish, sand dabs, halibut, and sole, going full-time when he graduated. When he is on land he enjoys time in the duck blind and spending time with his wife Moriah and son Alex.
STEVE FITZ
Steve grew up in Massachusetts, where he watched his father and uncle return from Georges Bank with abundant loads of cod. After breaks during college to help finance his tuition and earn a degree in business Steve made the move to California and full time fishing. When he’s not fishing you can find Steve surfing a wave, skiing down a mountain and spending time with his wife Steph and kids Cora and Bo.

Lisa spent her childhood in a commercial fishing family and has spent years advocating for sustainable fisheries and the future of commercial fishing. When she is not working she is hanging out with her husband Matt and son Todd.

The Mr. Morgan is strong and dark with an East Coast flair and that iconic red stripe to match the Summer sky. The only Scottish Seiner operating in the United States and a founding member of the California Groundfish Collective, Mr. Morgan catches Petrale Sole, Rockfish and Sand Dabs and converts to fishing traps for Dungeness Crabs in the Winter.

She’s a classic beauty with traditional lines and touches that pay homage to her past. Recently rebuilt and re-powered she harvests Sablefish, California Rockfish, Petrale Sole and Sand Dabs as a founding member of the California Groundfish Collective, as well as a participant in the California Halibut and Dungeness Crab fisheries.
